Introduction
A group of North County enthusiasts proudly announces the formation of the newest San Diego area Corvette club affiliated with the National Council of Corvette Clubs, Corvettes of San Diego.
The club came about as a result of area Corvette owners wishing to have local ties to the national affiliate. The club was founded on August 31, 2003 with eight members and became a member of the National Council of Corvette Clubs in February 2004. Corvettes of San Diego meet at The Elks Lodge in South Escondido on the fourth Friday of each month. The club’s focus is to have fun with the member’s cars and get to know other enthusiasts around the county. The club’s mantra is “keep it simple, keep it fun”.
Anyone who is the proud owner of a Corvette and is looking for a “young at heart” group of folks to “rev it up with” should mark their calendar for our next meeting on the fourth Friday of the month. The meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. and many members arrive early to dine. The club is open to visitors of all ages who share a passion and love for Corvettes.
